Plain-English FAQ

What EasyAgree does, and what it does not claim.

EasyAgree helps create private approval records, PDF receipts, and portable proof packages. It is designed to make small real-world agreements clearer without pretending to replace lawyers, courts, or full contract systems.

Is EasyAgree a legal e-signature platform?

Not yet. EasyAgree is positioned as a lightweight proof and approval record tool. It helps document what was shown, who responded, when they responded, and what files were included. Use legal advice or formal contracts when the situation requires it.

Do recipients need an account?

No. Recipients review a private approval link and confirm their response from that link. Creator accounts own and manage proof records.

What does the proof package prove?

The package helps show that the receipt, manifest, file fingerprints, and included files match the approved record. It does not prove someone had legal authority, capacity, or that the underlying facts were true.

Are my files public?

No. Agreement details, names, emails, and files are not publicly posted. Only proof fingerprints are publicly timestamped for independent verification.

What happens when hosted files expire?

Hosted files and hosted proof packages are available during your plan retention period. Download your proof package and PDF receipt for long-term storage outside EasyAgree.

Can I verify a package years later?

The design goal is yes: if you kept the package and files, the verifier can recalculate fingerprints and compare them to the saved manifest and public proof reference.
